We reconstructed anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) & posterior cruciate ligament (PCL) simultaneously after knee dislocation, using fresh-frozen achilles allograft under the arthroscopy and analyzed clinical outcome and observed the recovery of sport activity. From Jan. 1996 to Mar. 2004, There were 21 patients that 4 were acute and 17 were chronic. Ligament injuries were 4 MCL, 5 posterolateral instability. Meniscus injuries were 5 medial menisci and 4 lateral menisci. Popliteal arterial injuries were 3 cases. Fresh-frozen achilles allograft were adopted in reconstructive procedure. Follow-up periods were at least 1 year. Telos stress arthrometer, Lysholm knee score, Tegner activity scores, and International Knee Documentation Committee form were evaluated.Telos stress arthrometer showed improved joint instability by means of decreased anterior (average 2.1mm) and posterior (average 3.2mm) translation distance. Under the Tegner activity score revealed 3 cases of score ¥µ, 7 cases of score ¥´, 7 cases of score ¥³, 3 cases of score ¥² and 1 cases of score II. Lysholm knee score were 81.4(58-90) points. IKDC showed 9 cases of Group A. In knee joint dislocation, considering the knee joint stability and activity, arthroscopic ACL & PCL simultaneous reconstruction is good operative technique.
